Do you feel like there is something missing in your life? Are you struggling to find happiness, peace or acceptance? Do you know where you’re going after you die? Are you 100% sure you will be in heaven?
These are questions that we once asked ourselves, and we are happy to tell you that we have found the answers and want to share them with you!
The reason we sometimes feel empty or unaccepted is because we were created to need and know God personally. We often go throughout life trying to fill this need with things of the world such as money, drugs, alcohol, friends or other material things. The truth is, the hole in our beings is God shaped, he is the only entity that can fill this missing space in our lives. By talking to him and reading his Word we can come to know him better and better. Before we can do this, however, we first need to know and “believe the one He sent” John 6:29
Many people associate “religion” with something or someone that wants to take from you. Well let us tell you that the true living God wants to do just the opposite! He has something he wants to give you! And best of all, God loves you so much that the gift is free! This gift God wants to give you is Salvation! You can have for free the peace of knowing you will spend eternity in Heaven. If you want to hear the truth about sin, Jesus and salvation please read on!
"But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear." Isaiah 59:2
“Who can say, "I have kept my heart pure; I am clean and without sin"?” Proverbs 20:9
“There is not a righteous man on earth who does what is right and never sins.” Ecclesiastes 7:20
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23
Death in this passage is talking about what is called “the second death” which can be described in this passage
“And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20:14-15
So now that we know these facts about sin, what can we do? How can we be made right with God and make sure our names are written in “the book of life”? Many people will try to “do something” to make themselves right in God’s sight. Many people think that because they have “done something” they are right in God’s sight. A few examples may be attendance at religious meetings, prayer, fasting, being baptized, taking communion, giving to the poor, volunteering, being a “good person” or even general belief in God. When we make our own attempts at salvation as in the examples given, God calls them “filthy rags”
"But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away." Isaiah 64:6
So according to the bible, the answer is nothing. We can do nothing about our sinful state. What we need is to be saved from it and the death that is hand in hand with it. This is where Jesus comes in!
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in Him
should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world,
but that the world through Him might be saved.
He that believeth on Him is not condemned:
but he that believeth not is condemned already,
because he hath not believed in the name
of the only begotten Son of God.''
John 3:16-18
"For I delivered unto you, first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scripture; And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"
1 Corinthians 15:3-4
"...He is risen..."
Matthew 28:6
"Him God raised up..."
Acts 10:40
"...God raised Him from the dead."
Acts 13:30
"...while they beheld, He was taken up..."
Acts 1:9
"This Jesus hath God raised up...
being by the right hand of God, exalted."
Acts 2:32,33
Jesus saith unto him,
`I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life:
no man cometh unto the Father,
but by Me.' ''
John 14:6
"To wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself..."
2 Corinthians 5:19
"Neither is there salvation in any other,
for there is no other name under heaven given among men,
whereby we must be saved.”
Acts 4:12
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.” John 5:24
“as by the offence of one (Adam), judgment came upon all men to condemnation, even so by the righteousness of one (Jesus Christ) the free gift came upon all men unto the justification” Romans 5:18
“Even when we were dead in sins, (God) hath quickened us together with Christ, by grace ye are saved;" Ephesians 2:5
“Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.” Romans 3:24-28
“...Sirs, what must I do to be saved? So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Acts 16:31
“And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ...”
1 John 3:23

Truths about sin
Sin separates us from God.
Everyone has sinned.
The wages of sin is death.
What can we do?
Truths about Jesus
Jesus is the Son of God and died to pay for our sins.
Jesus was buried . . .
rose again on the third day . . .
and ascended into Heaven.
Jesus is the only way for spiritually dead sinners to be saved.
Jesus promises life after death, no condemnation or judgment for our sins, and that we will no longer be dead spiritually, but alive in our Spirit.
We must believe.
“God it is written in your word that if I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in my heart that you have raised Him from the dead, I shall be saved. Therefore, God, I confess that Jesus is my Lord. I make Him Lord of my life right now. I believe in my heart that you raised Jesus from the dead. I renounce my past life with Satan and sin and close the door to any of his devices. I ask you now in the name of Jesus to fill me with the Holy Spirit. I step into the fullness and power that I desire in the name of Jesus. I thank you for forgiving me all of my sin. Jesus is my Lord, and I am a new creation. Old things have passed away; now all things become new in Jesus' name. Amen”
